  • When do we start? Practice will begin in late August (optional workouts, hitting and pitching clinics will be available in July)
  • What are the fees? $425 per year, $100 is due to confirm your roster spot, the remaining is due January 1st
  • What do my fees cover?  All field prep and umpire fees, 2 custom uniform jerseys and 1 pair of custom pants, batting helmet, equipment backpack, sweatshirt; all other equipment will be provided except for a fielding mask and cleats
  • Will I be required to fundraise?  Most of the tournament fees are covered by corporate sponsorships and DGSA wide fund raising events.  Historically, individual fundraising has been limited and decisions regarding fundraising are left to the individual teams based on the number of tournaments desired
  • How many games will I play?  Each team in coordination with their  families determines how many games they want to play; typically between 35 and 60 over the entire year via doubleheaders and tournaments in the Fall, Winter, & Spring/Summer
  • Can I play other sports? Yes, however in the Spring/Summer season, softball is expected to be your first priority
  • When will I know if I made a team?  We plan to have all rosters completed by July 15th
